GRACE
FELLOWSHIP
• The group is a fellowship opportunity. Programs for the meetings
each year may include religious, educational, entertainment (musical)
or humorous presentations.
• The meetings are the second Tuesday of the month (March through
December) in the
Church Lounge at 7:30 p.m. |
ACTS
OF GRACE
• This is a drama group consisting of people of all ages. Children
and adults choose plays that are presented to the congregation. Participants
have speaking parts and are behind the scene, as well. |
GRACE
LUTHERAN CHURCH WOMEN (GLCW)
• The women of Grace Lutheran Church are served through this
National Church-wide organization. The women of this group also serve
the congregation.
• As a community of women, created in the image of God, called
to discipleship in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit,
we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one
another in our callings, engage in Ministry and action, and promote
healing and wholeness in the church, society and the world.
• Major events include Project Day on the second and fourth
Monday of each month September through May; the Mother and Daughter
Banquet in May; and a Christmas party in December.
• The GLCW Executive Board meets the fourth Monday at 7:30 p.m.
in the Church Lounge. The five Circles meet monthly at various times
and locations. |
MOPS
(Mothers of Preschoolers)
A gathering of moms with children from birth through 6 years old.
Enjoy creative activities, learn good parenting skills, and enjoy
refreshments while your children are playing with other kids their
own age.
Morning MOPS – 9-11:15 a.m. on the 2nd and 4th Mondays, September
– May.
Evening MOPS – 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays,
September – May. |
DAA
(drug addicts anonymous)
This group meets weekly on Sunday evenings at 8:00 p.m. in the Dining
Room. |
HELPS
ON THE WAY
Matches individuals with volunteers who transport to doctor and dentist
appointments, do small repair jobs in carpentry, plumbing, and electricity,
complete small sewing projects or repairs, wash windows, rake leaves
and do weeding. Contact the church office to request helps on The
Way. |
